This weekend we drove to Frankfurt to renew William's passport at the American Embassy.
Along the way, we ate ice cream at a rest stop.
We sat in this very scenic drainage pipe.
Our afternoon activity was going to the zoo, especially the bat house.
Our evening activity was cheering for Germany as they played against Spain in the final game of the 2008 Europaeische Meisterschaft.

We did our best, trotting our fan-gear all over Franfurt all day, but Spain won 1-0. After the game, we heard three lame firecrackers from our hotel room and all was quiet. William's passport will arrive in two weeks. Sadly, we have no cute pictures of the American Embassy!
